THE DRESS UP BOX...

Rummaging through Nanna's old dress up trunk, brought back memories of the times spent as a little squirt in an old ball gown of hers. I would pretend and fantasize about who I could be, in which house I would live, and which prince I would marry. Now 20, I still have not grown out of dress- ups. I love them.

With each dress, or costume comes memories, and a story.

So,  Nanna caught me out in the act of going through the dress- ups and went into her room.

 Meanwhile, I found an old dress, which my Nanna had made for herself before she was married in 1961. Later when my Mum was born, Nana made a mini matching one for her and shortened the hem on her own.

These dresses are both white cotton, with purple roses- handmade by my Nanna (Glenys). The dress in which my Nanna is wearing will be on sale at the opening of my Etsy Boutique.
